History

Blue Mesa Digital Mapping, LLC was founded in 2004 and while this makes Blue Mesa a very young company it is built on experience covering a multitude of mapping disciplines. Originally formed in Colorado, Blue Mesa moved to Oklahoma the same year in order to provide the FAA with mapping and technical services. Working with the FAA over a number of months, Blue Mesa developed digital mapping specification based on the DO 272 design manual requirements. Eleven airports were mapped based on these specifications for the SF21 program. TIN files were also prepared and used for site analyst Services included development of collection procedures, attribution, update and QA/QC procedures. Our resources include three Certified Photogrammetrist and one sales person who combined, represent over 150 years of mapping and survey experience. Blue Mesa is qualified and capable of completing any type of photogrammetric mapping project.
