Socet Set 5.2

BAE Systems released SOCET SET version 5.2, a robust digital photogrammetric software application. The new version delivers increased productivity through several innovative processes, including the SOCET for ArcGIS module, which provides 3D feature collection capabilities in ESRI’s ArcMap environment, permitting users to edit personal or multi-user geodatabases without photogrammetric expertise. In ad-dition to the new SOCET for ArcGIS module, SOCET SET v5.2 also includes extensive automation in the new Visual Cov-erage Tool (VCT) Batch module. With algorithms developed at BAE Systems, VCT Batch performs totally automated image import, triangulation, DTM extraction, orthorectification and mosaicking. Other enhancements include new matching algorithms within the Automated Point Measurement tool; much closer integration between SOCET SET and the BINGO aerial triangulation module for high performance bundle adjustment with self-calibration and blunder elimination; and sensor model and image import for Leica ADS40 imagery. Pro 600 Feature Extraction

PRO600 is an LPS add-on offering flexible CAD-based tools maximizing large scale digital mapping efficiency. Using stereo imagery, PRO600 provides a wealth of tools for three-dimensional stereo photogrammetric feature collection and terrain processing. Specifically designed for production mapping purposes, PRO600 runs on the Bentley Microstation platform.

Orima Aerial Triangulation

ORIMA is an LPS add-on providing advanced aerial triangulation and visual analysis tools. The premiere solution for frame, ADS40 and ADS80 sensors, and other digital sensors, ORIMA is proven and robust technology relied on by photogrammetry professionals around the world. Providing a strong set of analysis tools, ORIMA supports production jobs requiring high throughput.

Ortho and Ortho Pro

ImageStation OrthoPro is an integrated orthorectification product that addresses the complete ortho production workflow, including ortho project planning, rectification, dodging, true ortho, tone balancing, automatic seamline generation, “one-button ortho”, mosaicking, and quality assessment. OrthoPro has the ability to automatically input data from different projections and datums and integrate them into one mapping project. OrthoPro integrates the ortho production process into an efficient streamlined workflow. Included in the product is a tailored workflow for direct creation of USGS Digital Orthophoto Quadrangles. OrthoPro is integrated into GeoMedia, Intergraph’s premiere GIS display and manipulation environment, which supports easy integration with images, footprints, and other data.

PRODTM

PRODTM provides a variety of tools that can be combined to create productive workflows for terrain modeling applications. Terrain models can be generated by direct measurement. Existing models may be edited and refined using the vector features in the MicroStation design file. PRODTM operates on all terrain file formats supported by LPS, and also serves as an interface to TerraModeler for advanced terrain analysis operations.

Interactive Terrain Editor

The Interactive Terrain Editor (ITE) is used to review and edit digital terrain and surface models. In GRID format, operators can access an unsurpassed set of tools and graphical displays to visualize, build, and correct elevation models, and interact with the selected algorithm.
Tools include: Post Editor, Area Editor, Geomorphic Editor, and Block Status, for complete point-by-point, geomorphic line, and area editing in mono and stereo modes. In addition, a range of bare-earth tools are provided for removal of trees and buildings. Adaptive tools for TIN and grid data storage formats are also included.
